Fix your cruise control? How about I just wreck your car instead?

I call troll, or at least urban legend with no proof. Makes for a great story, though...

The dealer inventory list online seems to confirm that the dealership has never seen a WRX before.

I don't know why that guy would have to contemplate whether to take a free STi or not. His WRX was valued at $21K. The dealership is now offerring a $33K plus tax car as settlement and it's not just any car, it's a STi. Being a law school grad and working with lawyers for the last 5 years, settlement is always best because it's guranteed. Sure, you can sue and maybe get more, but you could also get nothing if you catch a judge on a bad day and lawsuits could take years. I know my girlfriend would be happy if I could exchange a $21K car for a $33K car. Why worry about servicing? Just get a Helms manual and do what you can. A new car should be free of anything major for a couple of years anyways.

Actually, that brings up a very good point.

It's not very often that a Subaru dealership doesn't carry a WRX....let alone one on an island in the middle of an Archipeligo
