Talking New Car!

Got a new to me car this weekend. It's a gray 2003 VW GTI 1.8t. Got a five speed slush box cause my knee can't take the clutch action in traffic. Will post pics eventually.

I went without my 5-speed for about two years. I finally broke down and got a Nissan Pathfinder for a decent price.

That's one of the major reasons I'm selling my 2004 Subaru Outback. Love the car but my knee can't take all the shifting.

My new Prius was delivered yesterday. 50MPG on the way to work this morning!

Mods maybe not sure yet, but first I'm checking into the 3M film to protect against rock chips. And the auto is so much nicer on the bad knees.

Yea driving auto is alot easier sometimes. especially if u have knee/ankle/foot issues.

Is the 3M film inexpensive? Its kind of like a clear 'car bra'...

I haven't got any quotes yet but I don't think it's cheap. You can get lamin-x for headlights and such but a full coverage on the front of a car and leading edges sounds like it can get pricey.

Thanks for the compliments. They only mods I will do for now will be to the suspension. I will look into performance later, I really don't need a fast car just something that is fun for me to drive.
