I'm gonna get roasted for this, but I am of the opinion that there aren't any more "dishonest mechanics" out there than there are "dishonest carpenters", "dishonest doctors", etc. There are certainly some incompetent ones, but I have found that most mechanic/customer "issues" center around miscommunication or lack of communication. |

This guy has been pretty good to me...did my timing belt and water pump after I decided not to do it myself (i think it was 190 for labor + PS and AC belts... I already had the timing belt and water pump).
