finally got the ZX10R to the drag strip... my personal best but i think it sucked... my launches were terrible...

my bike is all stock, and my buddy (a much better rider) pulled off a 10.09 on his all stock (lowered) '00 R1.... his 60' was like 1.71 and his MPH through the traps was about 3mph slower than mine. My bike is obviously faster, but he is a much better rider.

next time out i'm shooting for a 10.4 or 10.3... we'll see.

they let me roll a wheelie all the way down on my last run... blow through the gates at about 45mph and picked up a 2nd gear sit down.... went through the traps at 90mph with a 11.4 1/4 mile and set it down at the last turn around point before the track ran out. Woohoo

I love my little 10.

To paraphrase a phrase you don't hear too often - 10's are like oral sex, even when it's ok, it's still really great! Congrats on breaking into the quick! Glad that last run didn't turn into a "Hey ya'll watch this..."

hehe - nah i got the wheelies on lockdown... mostly. yest theres video but its a long video on a slow server and i'm about half way through it... i was up against a busa that run and took him off the line but he got me by 1/10th of a sec i think.
