wow.... i liked the whole gm employee discount thing, but this looks pretty sweet... Dont know how they regulate which car you put the gas in (maybe they only give you a set amount per week)

It's certain to be capped, and they probably pulled some other rebate off the table. Doubt it's a better deal overall then their previous offerings...

"Actual amount will vary based on vehicle purchased or leased. Based on average fuel consumption of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles at an average cost of $2.95 per gallon for 12,000 miles per year. Actual consumption may vary based on specific vehicle, driving conditions and other factors. Gas offer may be in lieu of other available incentives and cannot be combined with other offers. See participating retailer for details. Offer expires 10/31/05."

So it is a fixed amount. they expect gas to not break 2.95, and they expect you to drive 12,000 miles in a reasonable way... So yeah. i dont think that would work out with the way i drive on the weekends... To vegas and back at 145 mph....

Not to mention, I'm sure they'll base the amount of gas that you need for those 12,000 miles on MPG that the window sticker claims the car gets.

Edit: I jus saw you posted that already. I wonder what the average fuel consumption for Mitsubishi vehicles is. At 25 MPG, it's equivalent to a $1,400 discount off the car or so. I wonder standard rebates are like on Mitsubishi -- because evidently taking the gas card voids any other rebates that you may qualify for.
