How is the underside of the body? Mustangs are notorious for having major rust areas. Before you invest any money, look especially at the frame rails next to the fuel tank, the floor pans and the frame sections below the front seat which extend forward to the engine mounts.
I am working on a 64-1/2 and I can tell you that they can be costly unless you can use a welder to replace rust areas. I am installing a fuel injected '92 5.0 in mine..a job which only masochists would perform. |
