    I hope you had a nice few days.

    Wednesday was pretty much all about the cleaning. Though I did run out and stock up on Buddy's Grape Soda, the best grape soda in the world. And broke part of a tooth that is getting capped in a few weeks anyway.

    Thursday we had the wife's family over, had a nice meal and as is sort of tradition around here, watched the WKRP episode with the turkey drop.

    Friday I had no intention of shopping. None. But at 6 am, my UPS went belly up and proceeded to tell me that, loudly. So I went out and got a new battery for it. Then I went back and returned it, since it wasn't the battery, it was the unit, and bought a new one. Then we went to put up the tree and discovered all our lights were bad, so I went out AGAIN and bought light strings. Almost had to go out yet again because I thought I bought the wrong ones, then discovered a way to mod them so our old Magic ornaments from Hallmark still worked. After that I gave up on people and played the Walking Dead.

    Saturday there was some running around but mostly it was an unproductive day, as most of the things we planned on doing we didn't. I read and dodged zombies. Sammy had her first official driving lesson that apparently went pretty well.

    Sunday did some carpet cleaning, played Walking Dead, and watched it too. It was a good few days off but at this point, I'm ready to go back to work.
