Homemade chicken chow mein with brown rice and cream cheese wontons. I always use ice in my soda and it does indeed water it down. I think I will start sticking it in a mug in the freezer when I am at home instead of using the ice.

I love chicken chow mein. Actually all Chinese type foods.

My Sprite never lasts long enough in the glass to get watered down by the ice.

I made schnitzel last night... basically thinly-sliced pork fried quickly on both sides. The recipe I found said to roll it in bread crumbs but I used smashed up corn flakes instead, and I liked that better. Wanted to recreate what I had in Germany and it came out nearly spot-on. woohoo!

Lunch today was tuna fish in the pita bread I made this morning. Pita is a lot easier to make than I thought it would be, it's simpler than normal bread.

Got a couple loaves of multigrain bread ready to go in the oven as soon as dinner comes out.

Dinner is some pork spare ribs I marinated in a little sauce last night (vinegar, brown sugar, worchester sauce, cajun seasoning). I'm going to pull the meat apart and stuff it into a roll, kinda like pulled pork.

I did Dixie Fry chicken with homemade mashed potatoes and fresh corn. Made a couple of cornbread muffins and thawed a cheesecake for dessert. It was good, but a little much. I prefer the Wok and grilled fish, etc.
