Who stole the monkey from the monkey bread??
I made monkey bread tonight..haven't done that in ages. Turned out great, and I even used brown sugar splenda blend instead of plain old brown sugar..mmmm It will be better tomorrow when the "goo" has had a chance to really sink in.
Monkey Bread 4 tubes of pillsbury bisquits (or your favorite store brand) 1 stick of melted butter (in bowl) 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar splenda blend with 3 teaspoons of cinnamon added and stirred in. -cut each bisquit into halves, roll in butter then roll in cinnamon/sugar mix -place in lightly greased small pie plate or cake pan..repeat-pile high. -bake at 350 for 35 minutes till top is brown.. -remove from oven, and enjoy! (tomorrow morning I'll probably toss some icing on these and have them like cini-mini-rolls...) |

My mouth is watering already -- this sounds like a recipe I'll try making.
![]() (I don't think I've ever had monkey bread).
