Rice Pudding

Anyone have a great recipe they'd like to share? I just found this one on allrecipes, but I don't know. I'm probably going to give it a try.

If you think you have a better recipe, do tell.

My recipe is similar to that-minus the yellow raisins, And at the final cooking stage I add 1 box of vanilla (cooked type) pudding mix, and 1/2 pint of heavy cream-it gives it a nice thick creamy consistancy. After it's cooled down, I add cool whip and mix it in well to make it a bit lighter..and I have cinnamon in mine. But if you ask me..ANY RICE PUDDING IS AWESOME..as long as you can get the rice to cook!

Well, I tried that recipe and it turned out very well. Everyone gobbled it down, myself included. I omitted the raisins myself.

As an aside, in Swedish cooking rice pudding is served as a side dish (often with lingonberries) during the main meal (rather than as a dessert).

Lingonberries are great. I have some lingonberry jam somewhere around here... Hmmm.... I think I'd need fresh ones to mix it in here.

Experimenting time.

Though really I do just love the flavor of the rice. I used Jasmine rice (my favorite).
