whats on the thanksgiving table
for me it be a day early as wife working thanksgiving 12 hour shift.
the normal here turkey and all the dressing .and home made punkin pie. were have my side of the family over and maybe 1 of her sisters and older brother.

I start making deserts on Wednesday
turkey glazed ham a homemade stuffing corn green bean casserole yams potato salad mashed potatoes gravy chamorro red rice kelaguen possibly pancit meatball hors de oeuvres homemade apple turnovers pumpkin pie and the kids are helping their mom make sugar cookies. Immediate family and some of the kids friends coming over.

Ritual gathering w/ my father's family, approx 25 supposedly scheduled for attendance at my grandmother's house on T-day. The usual turkey, mashed taters, stuffing, gravy, everything, etc. I especially look forward to one uncle's scalloped oysters (think oyster stuffing) and one aunt's "purple stuff" (jello salad) each year. I might make a couple pies to take.
