Question microwave popcorn

what company and type/flavor do you like and feel is the best value for the money .
now you could end up with 2 different reply's !

for me personally
value would have to be ACT11 brand.
favor is Pop Secret Extra Butter or movie Theater butter flavored.

My favorite WAS Pop Secret Light, but I have a real hard time finding that now... I only see regular and the 94% fat free stuff. The regular is too greasy & the 94% is too dry.

Orville's salt & pepper flavored is REALLY good, but expensive.

i agree that actII brand is cheap.

Orville is definitely the best popcorn though.

I go with which ever company makes the single serve bags. Keeps the kids from fighting over who gets the bowl and who gets the bag.

HAHAHAHA!

I try to avoid microwave popcorn anymore. One of the factories that make the stuff had a bunch of folks start coming down with cancer due to overexposure to the "butter" in it.

Kind of scared me off.

I have to say I hated microwave popcorn way before that all came out. Not only does it just taste "off" to me, the smell of it is just horrible.

Anyone that wants popcorn should do yourself a favor and get a good quality "Movie Theater" style popper and a decent brand of popcorn.

There is a world of difference between the stuff that comes out of a microwave and something like Snappy brand.

I quit eating it too. I notice it kind of coats my throat and bothers my breathing at night if I had microwave popcorn beforehand.

We sold Jiffy Pop a year or two ago but can't remember seeing it lately.

Any reason why you wouldn't just make your own? Takes an extra minute or two, I guess.
