Is this an Apple product or knock off???
Is this an Apple product or a knock off??
No where does the Apple logo or name appear in the pictures or descriptions. Screen size is different from the "ipod Nano" listed at Apple's site. Has anyone ever used one of these devices? Where is a reveiew of it? Is "gotApex" misleading people using the term "iPod Nano". If it is too good to be true it probably is. |

Definately knock off. " Support WMV, MPG, MPEG I, MPEG II converted to AMV playing (Software included) Enjoy interesting games playing " Last I knew iPods don't support WMV, and I think only the 5G iPod can play games. |
This is VERY bad on G|A's part for misleading it's users. It should be clear in the description that it is a knock-off.
|
C'mon...if people can't read the description then they deserve to be taken.

It says it plain as day: copy. |

Seems like expecting your users to deserve to be taken isn't exactly the best course for G|A to take. Seems like iPod is far more prominent than 'copy'. |
I own one
I bought the 2gb version and it works fine. My kids both have the genuine Ipod Nano's at 5x the price. This unit has more features than the Nano, such as the built in FM radio, Video playback ability and it functions as a data jump drive.
Quality isn't nearly as good as Apple, but it does what you expect. The software stinks and the documentation is horrible. Great Buy! |
A "real" iPod for $59 (sort of)
Thanks for clearing up the iPod confusion. I MISSED the word "copy" in the description. Glad that I did not get taken. I guess that I am stunned that Apple would let them sell it with the same name.
GotApex could have easily spelled that out in the TITLE by using 2 words "NOT APPLE". If anyone is interested, Circuit City is giving a $20 gift card with any iPod purchase this week. See their weekly ad. I might get a shuffle. $79 pluse I get $20 off in the future. |
ah my mistake. it looks like me adding the words ipod nano in the title really screwed everyone up. the only reason i added the words this time around was to get people to pay closer attention to the player,...
my intention is never to mislead anyone, i apologize if the title was confusing. |
