I just want to inform all cyber-shoppers that Verizon will sign you up in a jiffy as a new customer. Thereafter, they will yank the line on you and you will have to deal with their customer service which seems to be outsourced to India or some other country. Every time you call they will go through the whole nine yards on how to power off and reset the DSL modem, router and your computer. They will do a few no show appointment to aggravate you. Then they will tell you the only way to fix the problem is to cancel the service and re-establish a new account hence paying more monthly fee. Guess what, that is the oldest bait and switch game in sales. I am not the only one they conned. Do a search on the web and you will see.
