The prices are low because they want you to upgrade. The upgrades are cheap, starting at only $25 per component for those parts that I would pick. For example, on the Vostro 1510, upgrade to the Core 2 Duo for $25, 2GB of memory for $25, and the WXGA+ display is just $50. It already comes with a dual layer DVD burner and a 250GB hard drive (if the 160GB is not enough) is just $40 more. All that will still put you at the same price as the weeks before, but this time with more flexibility on those components that you want to upgrade and saving money on those that you don't care for.
