4 of 5 Great small headset for the money Tuesday, January 22, 2008 A Customer from Atlanta, GA
This is only the second BT headset I've used, the other is a Motorola 500 I bought for my wife for a similar price (~$30). It's not a top of the line headset, but for the money it works great. The range isn't too great, 10-15 feet and you start getting static. It will stay connected at 30 ft but there is too much noise. Volume is great, which was a concern for me, my Samsung Sync has always been quiet for me. I have a newer samsung phone, and I was hoping I could use some of the other features of the headset, but the only thing I can do from the headset is answer and hangup. I can't dial or anything else. Oh well.
When in range, the sound quality is great. People can't tell I'm on a headset. Fits well, I forget it's there sometimes, haven't had it fall out yet.
The little charger coffin is a perfect carrying case as well.
My favorite feature is that the speaker sits in your ear. My wife's headset just hangs on your ear and the speaker sits outside your ear. It can be too quiet and ambient noise can get in the way. This one, the speaker is in your ear with a decent seal, much better sound quality and volume. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Mostly Good Monday, January 07, 2008 A Customer from Farmington, CT
Pairs easily and smoothly with my Motorola KRZR k1m (Verizon). It is so small, but fits great without the ear loop. It feels very comfortable, I use the small earbud (medium and large also included). Outgoing audio is excellent in quiet/moderate environments. Using the buttons has been very easy, and it takes full advantage of voice activated dialing on my phone. I only read the manual to see how to turn it on/off, and everything else has been completely intuitive (first headset too).
I don't like to carry this unprotected in a pocket, so I also like the charger doubling as a case.
My only criticism is that there is always a constant buzzing to be heard on the headset. I don't know if this is from my phone or the headset though. I don't mind it even when on a long call. I knew the battery life wouldn't be much, but it's not a problem unless you are on the phone 4+ hrs a day. For such a low price this headset remains a great buy. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Best for your buck Friday, December 28, 2007 A Customer from Pleasant Grove Utah
If I could swap every bit of electronic equipment I own for Samsung equipment I would (and gradually I am). With Samsung you always know you are getting something reliable. I read the reviews on this headset on CNET before I bought it. It had received very high marks there as well, but warned that if the unit you were buying was under $50 then it was probably a knock off, as there had been a lot of those going around. This made me nervous at Buy.com's fantastic price. I purchased anyway and then checked for all the tell tale signs I read on CNET that would tell me if what genuine or not. I am happy to report that this is the REAL DEAL at an amazing price. The unit works perfectly and my voice recognition dialer on the blackberry pearl has no problem with it. I wear it all day and never even know it's there until it beeps to tell me I have a call. The trouble for me is I lose these kinds of things, but I'm keeping a very close eye on this one! I already had a white one, i just went ahead and purchased a black one. Samsung is very reliable, hours of battery life works pretty much all day. Its small and light. Just one thing worrys me is the ear...... i hope down the road it doesnt have any issues with it messing my ear drum ..lol

4 of 5 Small = easy to misplace Tuesday, December 25, 2007 A Customer from Lancaster, PA
I've had 4 or 5 BT earpieces so far. None of them provide truly great sound, including this Samsung. It was merely adequate, but as such, it was still better than the others I've tried...which says something about BT earpieces in general.
I'm guilty of easily losing earpieces, and this one is very easy to misplace---it's rather tiny. I lost mine after about two months, and miss it. It appears the price has come down, so I will be getting another.
It comes with three supposedly different-sized ear canal adapters, but I didn't see much difference among them, and they all seemed to fit my ear about the same.
Another reviewer commented on the problem of counterfeits. That is a rampant issue with higher-end BT earpieces. I think you have to always keep that in mind when looking at these devices, especially when you see an inordinately low price. Once another company (not buy.com) recalled a high-end Jabra that I had purchased from them. The device sure looked authentic to me, right down to the packaging. I will be interested to inspect this Samsung just to reassure myself that it isn't a fake. Was this review helpful?

This bluetooth headset fits perfect in my ear and it's snug so it doesn't fall off. I get alot of compliments on it's size. Since I usually wear my hair down, you can't even tell I have it on! Oh and you can't beat the price. I definitely recommend it! Was this review helpful?

My 4th bluetooth headset. A very discreet headset. It pairs well with my Motorola V3. Clear on my end hearing conversation; no one has mentioned any issues in hearing me either.
I wear glasses; so its nice to have such a small headset thats easy to slip out of my pocket and simply insert into my ear. The over the ear headsets I've used in the past conflict with the arms of my glasses; it can be quite annoying.
The Samsung WEP 200 is a very good headset at a low price from buy.com

4 of 5 Samsung WEP200 is great Tuesday, December 18, 2007 A Customer from Ellicott City, Maryland
I really like this Bluetooth headset. It works great with my Blackberry 8830 and voice dialing is a breeze. Callers have reported good sound on their end and it's crystal clear on my end. This thing also has great range! I've gone over 30 feet from the phone before static made the headset unusable. There have been lots of reports of fake WEP200's out there but Buy.com has the real deal.
The only negative I have with this headset is getting it to stay on. There are 3 included ear hooks and once you find the right one and can get the headset on properly, it's pretty stable - it just takes awhile to get there. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 One of the best headsets out there Monday, December 17, 2007 The Educated Consumer from NYC, NY
The wep200 is a great bluetooth headset. The best thing about it is that its super small. And for people who wear glasses like me, since its clipless there wont be any interference with them! The sound quality is great even from 10 feet from my phone. Sometimes there is a little interference when you have your phone in your pocket and wearing a heavy jacket but other than that is quite clear. Visually it also looks great, and if you have a samsung t809 it was meant to be with it (same materials used for that phone and the headset). Overall, its definitely worth buying, the first one i bought was for me at $90.00 and i still think that was worth, this one is for my brother, and at under $30.00 its an awesome value! 4 of 5 Great call quality and value. Saturday, December 15, 2007 Jeremy from Smithtown, NY
This headset provides great sound quality both to the caller and the person on the other end of the line. It's small and compact and the charging unit/case is a nice feature. It was difficult, at least for me, to find a good fit for the set in my ear. I found after talking a while that the headset shifts as well. Reaching to adjust my ear piece while driving defeats the purpose of having a hands-free set to begin with. The provided ear hook helps this but then doesn't fit in the case along with the headset for storage. Also, due to the small size, the buttons take up a lot of surface area and I found myself pressing them while trying to fit the device to my ear. This device was easy to link to my phone, has great call quality, and looks sharp. The only downside I've experienced is finding the right fit can be troublesome. I'm sure this will vary from person to person depending on the shape of their ears. The package does include three different sized ear piece covers so there is room for adjustment as well. Overall, this is a nice ear piece and a great value. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Fashionable and easy to use. Saturday, December 08, 2007 SimpleSimon from Houston, TX
This wonderful unit is small but is perfectly loud and clear to both parties and looks great! Not too big and I especially like the no-ear-hooks that's bothersome and hard to use although it does come with the optional hook in case it doesn't fit snugly in your ears. Was this review helpful?
