anyone been watching this? it started Wed. night on CBS. it follows in the tracks of last summer's Rockstar INXS where this guy won and is now their new front man.

yeah, I watched, and will watch each week-say INXS in San Diego last week-not quite michael hutchens, but 2nd best.

I'm watching it, but I would be very pleased to punch tommy lee in the kidneys a few times. that man really bugs me.

Dilana and her rendition of Nirvana's Lithium roxxored. She was hot. Not sure if they'd actually go for a female lead singer though.

I caught a few minutes of a couple of episodes. It is sort of a love fest- they always tell the performer how much they loved what they did. Especially Navarro.

might have to do with the fact he and Carmen Electra are splitsville and he's quickly rebounded with Jenna Jameson.

actually, having watched all the episodes so far, i would say Navarro and the others give someone the thumbsdown at least once/show.

But he says that to the guys too. the INXS show was the same way. I guess they don't want to be Simon Scowl although they are copying his show.

Well, considering we have a horrible parody of American Idol here in Canada, I've been tuning into Rockstar more just to hear some actual talent.

(The parody is actually called "Canadian Idol" if you can fathom it -- trust me, HORRIBLE talent.)

i saw a bit of "Canadian Idol" at a festival i went to in Canada.

My boyfriend & I are totally hooked on RockStar Supernova...we want Dilana to win, however, as many of you have stated, it may be unlikely that they choose a female as the lead.

I don't know... the other night when she fronted for Gilby one of the judges noted that that was the first time they could see a female actually winning the lead.
