Anyone watching NHL Blues/Kings?

It's the first time I've seen the blues score 5 in a LONG time.

With all the see-saw scoring, I guess it's going to be a battle of which defense shows up first.

Entertaining game...

Wow, there's a lot of scoring going on this afternoon... 11 goals in that game now, also 11 in the Ottawa-Montreal game.

I'll catch the Sabres later. I've been following them since I moved to the Buffalo area 8 years ago, it's good to see them doing well.

I was there. Definitely an entertaining game. You forgot to mention that they were serving FREE FOOD until the end of the 2nd period. As much hot dogs, chicken tenders, popcorn, and soda you could stuff into your grubby little hands.

I only had 2 hot dogs and 2 orders of chicken tenders (2 strips per order) and 2 sodas. Normally I'm a one beer per period fan.

Free food?? Wow, I've never heard of anything like that at a sporting event. That's their bread and butter, $5 hotdogs and such.

No kidding. Attendance is averaging the lowest in the league and the game was going to be televised nationally. Had to do SOMETHING to get fans into the seats. I'd say they got an extra 5 or 6000 to the game by doing it.

Dang Prngr! I would have been there for that

I actually would go to the games if I was in STL.

I did't watch it last night - I tend not to watch NHL games on the west coast and if the Blues are playing, I tend not to watch anyway unless I KNOW they are going to win. As soon as I see a score and they are winning, they lose.

I have season tickets and haven't wasted any of them yet. Tempted, but I love hockey too much to do that.

One of the funny things about the Kings game was that almost all of the songs and video vignettes were food related. The organization really executed the promo well. They showed the clip from Animal House when the food fight starts and my evil side was REALLY hoping something like that erupted.

The Blues killed my Ducks when they played them on the 16th. It was bad.

The Ducks gave up their first 2 SHG's of the season to the Blues.

What ever happened to Mark Hardy that used to play for the Kings? We were friends with him when he played here in Binghamton in the AHL in the 80's. I lost track of him after he was drafted out.

Mark Hardy - He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Chicago Blackhawks. Took a bit of searching but I found him!
