Clemens Joins The Yanks

They just announced it on the Yanks broadcast. Clemens is in the park.

Yanks definitely need the help!

Roger seems to have gotten better since he retired the first time. I don't blame him for not retirning again since it's mad loot he'll be making, playing in the biggest market in the nation. He's an instant hero for most Yankees fans. I wonder if there are some Yankee fans who are angry at all for when he retired then starting playing for the 'stros. Are there any Yankees fans on the boards?

I was there when he made the announcement. It was a good game. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If I was offered $4 milion a month I would certainly think about it. The Yankees do seem to need some help this season. Their player seem to be getting older. But so is Roger.

With the amount of money that team spends on payroll, they have NO excuse for not winning the World Series every year. Disgusting. I can't stand the fan base they've been able to buy for themselves.

Oh man the Yankees are a trainwreck. I am watching them on the West Coast on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. Their infield made 2 errors in the first 5 minutes I started watching. If I were Clemens I would be worried that the only way he was going to win in New York is to strike everybody out

But who knows perhaps Clemens can inspire. They certainly need more than just another arm in the rotation, that's for sure.

*edit* The announcers talk about Clemens like he's the next coming. No pressure no pressure

Guess the Yanks will have to wait a few more days since Clemens missed his scheduled start due to a fatigued right groin. How exactly does one fatigue their groin
