Rumor: Shaq to be traded?

Shaq's indifference leading to trade?

No one really wants to talk about it, but the Heat's main issue is the decline of Shaquille O'Neal with three years left on his contract at $20 million per season. Miami insiders said not only was O'Neal indifferent to the regular season, as usual, and this time had knee surgery, but he'd even go so far as to tell teammates not to bother with defense, apparently to not make his own indifference look bad.
queue in that song... "i see your truuuuue colors shining through"

anyhoo, i doubt Miami will trade shaq...at least not this summer.

The idea of a trade is laughable. There's not a huge market for 35 year old guys with $20 million contracts (and a few years left, at that).

Shaq has said he'll play out this contract and then retire, but I'm thinking he'll probably call it quits a year early.

Honestly, he doesn't have much left to prove, and he has the rings to show for it.

Pretty much, he's probably gonna do what he wants to do (and either way, he's still a rich man.)
