Paris Hilton is Traumatized Over Her Sentence

Aww, poor baby

http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...T/70515015/-1/

Paris Hilton is "emotionally distraught and traumatized" over her 45-day jail sentence and isn't capable of testifying in a civil lawsuit against her, the socalite-reality TV star's psychiatrist said.

Dr. Charles Sophy has been seeing Hilton, 26, for the past eight months and has talked with her several times since her May 4 hearing for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case, according to court papers.

Sophy said Hilton needs time to recover from the shock of receiving jail time before testifying in a civil case brought against her by actress and diamond heiress Zeta Graff.

Messages left with Hilton's spokesman and lawyer weren't immediately returned early today.

In court papers filed Monday, Sophy said Hilton is "distraught and traumatized as a consequence of the findings at the May 4 hearing ... and her fear of incarceration."

"At this point in time," he continued, "Ms. Hilton cannot effectively respond to examination as a witness or provide any significant input into her defense."

Graff filed a $10 million lawsuit against Hilton in 2005, claiming the reality TV star spread "vicious lies" about her. Hilton has denied that she was behind a report alleging Graff once tried to grab a necklace worth $4 million from her throat.

Superior Court Judge Linda K. Lefkowitz postponed the trial to August. It had been scheduled to begin this month.

Hilton and her pal Nicole Richie star on "The Simple Life," which throws them into everyday situations. After famously feuding and filming their parts separately last season, the celebutantes have reunited as camp counselors for the show's upcoming installment on the Comcast Corp.-operated E! network

I'd say that she's traumatized by having to face reality for the first time in her life.

Sounds like a setup for a new Paris reality show...

Meanwhile in other news today, the Los Angeles County Jail announced the completion of a new luxury private "penthouse suite" cell. This addition, funded by an anonymous private donor, was completed in record time due to the generosity of the donor. It includes separate living, sleeping, and entertainment (including a bar and a 72 inch high definition television) areas, as well as a whirlpool tub in the bath. A climate control system dedicated to the "cell" insures the comfort of the occupant.

Officials at the LA County Jail have refused to release the identity of the donor, citing privacy issues and a request for anonymity.

LOL. Can you imagine the outrage?

You know, Martha Stewart went to jail because of a single incident and didn't have it too bad in prison. And she came back and regained much of her stature.

But Paris continually defies the law. And she may not have it too bad, either. But I wonder what her fans will think of her after her jail term? It will be very interesting.

Most of her fans aren't old enough to drink or drive. Why the hell would they care?

They are taken care, of, etc., but they aren't comfortable the whole time. He wants her in his custody if the state of CA drops her sentence due to "overcrowding."

It would be cool to see this happen. Not that I like to see celebrities fall. Though some do, otherwise the paparazzi and news gossip people would be out of business. Having been friends with some celebs, they're just normal people and shouldn't be treated any differently, so I don't wish "harder" time on Paris, regardless if I feel it may make her a better citizen.

But this would allow her to follow through with her sentence, and that in itself may make this uber-rich, bigoted, elitist, very uneducated (voluntarily), law-breaking heiress wake up and grow up.
