NBA Draft '07
Portland beats the odds and gets #1 pick... They already have Brandon Roy, and will most likely will get Oden. Give them about 3-4 years...Portland will be a force to be reckoned with on the West.
1. Portland 2. Seattle 3. Atlanta 4. Memphis 5. Boston 6. Milwaukee 7. Minnesota 8. Charlotte 9. Chicago (via New York) 10 Sacramento Who do you think will be top 10 drafted players? |

This is an example of justice at its finest. Memphis and Boston tank their season and then end up only getting the #4 and #5 picks, respectively. Those picks are the worst picks that either of them could end up having.
Oden and Durant will go #1 and #2 but the order may be flipped. I've heard that Atlanta will most likely end up taking Conley Jr at the #3 spot. Along with Boston and Memphis, the Phoenix Suns are another big loser in this draft. If Atlanta's pick fell out of the top 3 Phoenix would have gotten it. Can you imagine the Suns getting a top 5 pick to go along with their current lineup?

I'm not so sure I'd take Conley Jr. over Acie Law IV. Law seems the more polished player and a good fit for Atlanta. Maybe Brendan Wright or Al Horford, then pick PG with #11 pick?
I just hope the Nets pick better than someone like Antoine Wright. That pick has been killing us. We could have had Hakim Warrick or Danny Granger..(sits back and thinks of Warrick on the receiving end of Kidd alley oops....mmmmmm) but someone really screwed that pick up. Wright has given nothing since he's been here.. |

I haven't seen Law projected as a lottery pick. He is definitely the more polished player since he played college ball for the full four years versus the one for Conley Jr. Not saying that he won't turn out to be a good pro, but I think his growth potential is must lower than that of Conley Jr. |
