Lost....
Anyone still following this series and watch the season finale? Something doesn't add up about tonight's episode. It is obviously supposed to take place after they get off the island but during what we were lead to believe was a flashback, Jack is talking about his father as if he were still alive. Just one of the many new questions the season finale asked.
The season premier should be very interesting.

I spent like 10 hours catching up on all the episodes I missed while I was out of the country so I could be ready for the season finale. I'm glad the show picked up pace towards the end of the season and Locke decided to stop being a pussy.
I think the "flashback" may have more to it than they seem to have shown. Definitely a clue to what the show is all about but I don't think it should be taken at face value. Also, Charlie is a dumbass. |

Ok, so eye-patch guy blows up the window. Charlie opts to save Desmond by locking the hatch and keeping him out of the flooding area. I get that.
But what I don't get is this... Once the room is flooded and the inside v. outside pressure is equalized, wouldn't Charlie be able to swim out? He's a tiny guy and the hole wasn't *that* small. It totally looked like he'd fit. |

someone may have to correct me on this if there is some element of physics that i'm failing to consider here, but...
why was it even necessary for charlie to close the door? when the explosion happened, the switch was already activated, so couldn't he have easily run into the big middle room and dove into back into the water with desmond? i feel like charlie didn't HAVE to die at all, but for some reason, which i still can't make sense of, he decided to close that door, as if that really accomplished anything... i'm with cornmonkey about jack talking about his dad as if he were alive. if you notice, the black doctor had this look of extreme pity whenever jack would mention his father, as if he were thinking "wow, this guy's really gone bonkers". i thought the finale was a little bit of a letdown, despite all the bad-guy killing. the previews made it seem as if the finale would answer a bunch of the mysterious questions, but it didn't really, and that kinda pissed me off. i can't wait till this freakin show is over and done with; i hate being strung along.

I understand how you feel but they've done the same thing each season. Answer a few questions during the season finale and then reveal a bunch of answers during next season's premiere. If it is really that bad you could always stop watching it. |
