Lebron simply amazing

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=270531008

Who was able to stay up and watch the end of this game last night? I got home at the start of the 4th quarter and was lucky enough to watch one of the best playoff performances ever! Lebron scored his team's last 25 points and 29 of their final 30 points. The last FG from another player was with about 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

The win takes Cleveland one win away from the NBA Finals and would begin to cement Lebron's place as one of the greatest players in NBA history. I know there was a lot of talk of Lebron vs Wade last year, but what Lebron has done to a franchise with average talent is nothing short of amazing. He has single-handedly carried his team to the brink of the NBA Finals against a much better Pistons team.

sheesh. i watched that stupid game. i'm starting to like the pistons since i live in detroit and was dying last night. i wouldn't be too upset if the pistons lost except for the fact i think they'd have a better chance against the spurs that the cavs would. i'm very, VERY sick of the spurs!

Lebron is almost single handedly beating the Pistons, who are a better defensive team than the Spurs, so he could probably do the same thing against the Spurs. I think the Cleveland big men match up better with the Spurs big men than the Pistons big men.

The one question I have if the Cavs win the series and matchup against the Spurs is who will match up against Gnobili. He is the one person that I don't think Cleveland will have an answer for.

I turned on the game at the same point and was mesmerized. What a performance. 25 points in a row and 29 of the last 30. Damn, what a job.

That was the best one-man show b-ball display since "Teen Wolf." I can't believe not one Cav besides Lebron scored a field goal for the last 18 minutes of the game. That's sick.

His performance was Kobe-like.

In fact his last few games had him taking and making a lot of shots that he doesn't usually take, but had to, and had to make. Last nights was an incredible performance and hopefully he'll have more of that for the rest of the playoffs.

I hope the cavs upset the pistons, but I don't think it will be easy.

Done (with a little help from Boobie Gibson).

It will be interesting to see how the Finals play out against the Spurs. From what I have heard most aren't giving the Cavs much of a chance, but I wouldn't bet against LJ at this point in time. Cleveland did win both meetings against the Spurs this year.

That kid won the game for them... he just came out of nowhere throwing 3-pointers left & right. I'll tell you, it gave me a lot more respect for LeBron - he knew he was going to be double & triple teamed all night, and he stepped back & let his team take over, and they did - except for Varejao (Sideshow Bob) whose entire contribution to the team seems to be flopping down on the court whenever anyone brushes by him.
