Video from our recent backpacking trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the UP. Please pardon the amateurish filming and transitions. I'm still figuring out how to film, create, and upload movies.

and anyone catch why i wrote the title that way? UP"ers (pronounce youpers) have a pretty strong canadian/scandinavian accent. and they call us trolls because we live under/south of the bridge.

that's really the first time i've spent much time up there. it's incredibly beautiful. and you can't believe how few people live north of grand rapids. once you drive 1.5 hours into michigan, there's another 10 to go with barely any people. it's great.

I happen to be one of those Yoopers that you are talking about. :-P Was at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore today. It is amazing to see what erosion has done to the Pictured Rocks. You can go one day and there is a trail and the next it is completely wiped out. Crazy. I really enjoy it there also.
