Nope

I'm going to watch Game 3 and see how the Cavs are playing at home. If it's not even a closed game, I won't even watch Game 4.

well the Spurs are boring... a good time, but boring. I haven't watched or paid too much attention to it once Kobe was ousted from the Playoffs.

The Season for me ended when Kobe's season ended.

Dude, I am not so sure they will be watching this series in SA until Game 4... I am thinking sweep or 5 games, the only game I see the Cavs winning is game three... other than that it is all Spurs. blah blah blah

So many people say this, but the funniest thing about it all is the Spurs are winning championships because they are playing basketball the way it was played 2 decades ago when it was more about team play than individual play.

Basketball is a team sport [paging Kobe Bryant]

true, but that kind of play is boring I rather have Kobe go off for 81 then watch the spurs... I am positive people in SA won't watch until game 4 when the spurs should be ready to sweep or gave 5 if the cav manage to win one.

EDIT: Wow I repeated myself on a positive note, I do like Ginobli, I don't care for Parker, but the last time I really liked someone on the Spurs was back when David Robinson was on the team.

It's amazing how quickly opinions will change if Cleveland comes out tonight and wins convincingly. Cleveland found a way to respond in the last series and I have no doubt that they will find a way to do the same tonight with home crowd behind them. The big question is if they will be able to sustain the same type of intesity in game 4.

As dominant as the Spurs were in games 1 and 2, I think the sentiment that a series doesn't start until the home team drops a game holds true here.

FWIW, I thought the Cavs played pretty well on both ends of the floor last night. Unfortunately they didn't hit open shots. Executing without hitting your shots doesn't do you a whole lot of good but they were getting open looks on a consistent basis and couldn't seem to buy a bucket.

We'll see if the Cavs can take a game or two before San Antonio closes out the series.

The Cavs couldn't make shots even if their lives depend on it. They are going to lose in 5.

Ugh, I want the Cavs to win but I think they will lose in 4! They are just not as polished as the Spurs.

Regarding Game 3: I think the Cavs did do a pretty good job on defense, but also the Spurs did not shoot well either (Duncan & Ginobili missed some makeable shots). The Cavs had the opportunity to extend a lead with the help of the poor shooting by the Spurs, but they couldn't execute. They had plenty of open looks!

I don't see the Spurs doing any worse offensively in Game 4 and I don't see the Cavs doing any better defensively. Spurs have done an effective and consistent job on LBJ, and they will continue that strategy. The only hope the Cavs have is if James' confidence in his perimeter shooting comes back.

I have to say though, I think James is doing a decent job still. He does have a lot of turnovers, but he's being real aggressive in the post and drawing the defense constantly, leading to an easy offensive board/putback or a foul call. He just needs to get his shooting touch back!

Anyways...

Woohoo the Spurs win it all again. Looks so obvious now, doesn't it. A very boring series imo. I think every other round leading up were more fun to watch.

It wasn't as dominant series for the spurs as it would seem. The cavs played good enough d to win 2 or 3 games and was just a few shots away from making a series out of this. If gibson hadn't of used it all up against detroit. If bron could have dropped a few more shots like he did in the other series. If they didn't hesitate so much, this would have been much more interesting. It's just growing pains for LeBron and company. They mostly need a real 2 guard. Grabbing Hughes was a mistake imo. If they could trade hughes, bobbey, etc. for a pure shooter like Ray Allen, they will have a real contender.

Now can the Spurs repeat? I say no. They always get one and fade it seems. Next years league will probably be very different than this years. The influx of talent should huge. TD was TD. Manu just keeps going. Finley picked the right team. Parker got mvp, is getting married, and will probably not be so hungry next year. Big shot rob got ring #7! He now has more rings than Mj, Kareem or any non celtic. He's coming back for #8 and deserves the Hall imo. I don't think the spurs will repeat, but they should continue to roll and make some noise in the playoffs next year.

The Spurs were very fortunate this year. Dallas bowed out to Golden State in the first round and the suspension of Stoudamire swung the series against Phoenix. The Spurs will be very lucky to make it out the West next year.

I have to agree with VTGreg about the Suns. Having Stoudemire and Diaw gone was a HUGE blow to the Suns, much more so than having Horry gone was for the Spurs. 1 role player vs. top scorer and top sixth man, especially at that juncture of the series? In my eyes, that definitely determined the series.

On the other hand, I don't know if the Suns were the better TEAM, per se, but I would have much rather seen them play than the Spurs, so maybe that's just my bias.

Spurs play the best d in the league.

Dallas shouldn't have went last year and got what they deserved this year. They are a pretty team that's built for the regular season, but they don't pack much of a punch in a playoff series. Dirk = Fail. GS should also be better next year, but probably won't make the playoffs so that might help.

The Suns don't play D. Another fun to watch team, but unless their d gets better, they won't make it all they way.

Wait for the draft and all the trades that should happen. Before that changes everything, San Antonio should be the favorite for next years title.

I am still waiting for one big trade.
