Chris Isaak

Mang, what is it about this dude. His is the perfect music for those "I'm drinking because I've lost the perfect woman" or "the bitch left me but I still love her" or "-insert painful lingering romantic experience here-" moods. Got a half dozen of his songs on repeat. Its as if the dude knows exactly what it feels like to have a knife in your heart and yet you want nothing more than for it to be driven deeper in. Chris Isaak has kept me company on far too many nights.

i just hope its not him personally.

but seriously, chris isaak has done right by his music. for every requited union, there are many other jilted and UNrequited situations with it. He may not have explosive hits, but his songs echo the sentiments of those other situations perfectly.
more people relate to it, albeit in the dark and alone in their sorrow.

no one wants to be in that situation, but everyone gets in them all the time.

LOL, naw, I didn't mean that literally. Those fantasies are reserved for Roy Orbison and saran wrap. LINK

Sorry about my drunken posting/ whining. Can't believe how coherent I still seemed after 2 bottles of wine and a few shots of crown.

Somebody's Cryin' and I Wonder are two good songs.

Hey, it could always be worse:
