THE LAKERS ARE THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION CHAMPS!

So (like I said )Lakers in 5 and that is that. It was all in the journey. Kobe got the gorilla off his back. Phil has the most championships of any coach and is the best coach the nba has seen. Sorry Red. Gasol is not mr softy anymore. Fish has done it again and will be thought of as one the clutch players to ever play. Ariza earned a payday and some got some payback. LO aka Candyman did as much anyone could have asked of him and might be back for the next run. Luuuke was clutch at times. For all his defensive liabilities, he overall proved me wrong and was good off the bench. The kids grew up and regressed, but eventually contributed to a championship team/season.

Now to build another dynasty. Favorites for next year. Have to resign trevor and odom if possible. Bynum will get better. No off season bs for kobe so he should be less fatigued. Next year Farmar needs to show and take that starting job or he will be gone imo. Be nice if they could get morrison or sasha to shoot as well as ariza does. Especially Morrison. Dude was nice and it would be great to see him reach his potential next season. Brown could easily take farmars spot and is the type of guard the PJ likes. DJ and Powell were good at times, but will need to work in the off season. Sun got a ring, but it's hard to say if he has a future with the Lakers or in the NBA.

PARADE/My early BDAY party!

WEDNESDAY JUNE 17th

Event begins at Staples Center and ends at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where the Lakers' players and coaching staff will address the crowd.


Figure out if you want to see them along the route or go to the Coliseum.
Figure out where you might want to try to park.
Coliseum holds roughly 100,000 people.
Get there early.
Stay hydrated. Coliseum gets toasty.
Be prepared for a huge crowd and have a good attitude.
Don't act up or you will get arrested, stupid.
Have an exit strategy jic.

Controversy?
So there was like 5 minutes of drama... should they have the parade or not? It will cost approximately 2 million this year that the team will put up half of it and the city was going to get stuck with the other half. That didn't sit well with workers being layed off and now some "donors" are paying the other half. I knew we would have it and I knew someone would step forward and pay to celebrate #15.
