I sympathize with Texas who had the exact same record as OU but beat OU in a face to face matchup. I do understand that it is the Big12 who decided to use the BCS rankings as a tie breaker but think they should have used head to head competition as a criteria before going to the BCS points- perhaps even the first tiebreaker. Most other places do that. If you lost to them, how can you claim to be better than they are?

You can't use head-to-head as the first tie breaker since it's a 3-way tie (UT beat OU, TT beat UT, and OU beat TT). If Texas is to be going to the Big12 Championship game, TT will have something to say since it beat Texas.
