Chargers lost! Damnit!

Thought we got hosed a couple of times by the refs. But the Steelers are good, and it's hard to play in that weather. Congrats. Good luck with the Ravens.

I was working and only caught snipetts of the game. I did see one call againt Troy Palomalu for a hit on the quarterback which I thought was a bad call. Considering where they were six weeks ago, the Chargers came a long ways and I consider it a good season which was fun to watch (at least the second half of the season!). I have kind of liked the Steelers all year and hope they have a shot at the big prize. They are very tough on defense. Sounds like the Chargers were just outplayed.

If the Eagles have too many quarters like Q1 yesterday they will not win another game. They were effectively stymied. I was surprised to see them not only comeback but lay a hurt on the Giants.

Yup, looks like I'm an Arizona fan for the rest of the year.

Their the only team left I can stand. And that's mainly because they've been too terrible over the years to really hate.

I'm cheering for the Eagles cuz one of my friends is a huge Eagles fan. He cheered for the Chargers, so I guess I should reciprocate.

As far as the Chargers...most people wrote them off halfway through the season. We squeaked into the playoffs and surprised everyone by beating the Colts. Am I disappointed we lost to the Steelers? Absolutely...i would have been going to the AFC Championship Game in San Diego had we won. I am not, however, disappointed in the season. Given the injuries and bad luck early on in the season, I think the Chargers did great.

Chargers lost due to 2 plays:

1) the tipped ball right after the incredible Sproles kickoff return.

2) the ball doinking off of Wheddle's helmet during a Steeler's punt.

both of those seemingly-dumb-unfortunate-luck plays kept the Chargers D on the field, where eventually the Steelers just wore them down.

I honestly believe that the Steelers have no excuse to not win the super bowl. Baltimore suffered a lot of injuries after playing against the Titans, and they may be spread thin and possibly emotionally drained after last weeks game. Plus, they will be playing at Heinz as well, so....

go Card's! (gotta love the novelty. Plus if *THEY* can win a Super Bowl, *ANYONE* can win a Super Bowl, even the Lions, right? right? Bueller?)

Don't forget the BS pass interference call in the end zone. That one wasn't even close.

you can't blame the refs, i watched the game and there were bad calls that went both ways.

The one on Palumaniuna (sp) was like a 3 yard penalty. That was the only bad call the Steelers got.
