Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

I just got back from the midnight show. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, even with John Turturro back in a minor role!

A lot of people complained about the first movie lacking in action and robots. Um, this 2nd movie fixed that.

A lot of people complained about the storyline in this movie. Yes, it's a bit confusing, but if you pay attention and stop looking at megan fox' assets you'll understand everything just fine.

I'm really glad that Arcee was in the movie. She was the only female Autobot in the history of the original cartoons (if i'm not mistaken), and only appeared in the 1986 animated TF movie.

For those of you who hate Michael Bay, you'll probably continue hating him. Was some of the stuff overdone? Yes. Did he make attempts to poke fun at politics? Yes. Stupid love story with hot chick? Check. Things falling from space and blowing **** up? It wouldn't be a Michael Bay film if it didn't have that.

Take a Michael Bay summer action blockbuster film for exactly what it is. A brainless entertaining 2.5 hours. Go spend the $10 to see this movie on the big screen. Bring your kids (there was some language/cursing, sexual remarks), have some fun, and enjoy the show.

Finally! A TF2 review that treats the movie as it is meant to be.

I'm so sick of people trying to badmouth the movie simply because they are huge Transformers fanboys (and I use the term lightly) and complain that Bay screwed up everything they loved about the original series.

Giant robots? Check! Lots of explosions and stuff? Check, Check, Check.... I'm in!

I could have sworn there was more than one female Autobot. Not a lot but at least two more. Alita One(sp?) was on Cybertron and they were hiding from Shockwave with the help of some old geezer Autobot and if you want to stretch it the female ninja Decepticon.

I think you're right, but i cannot for the life of me remember the storyline of the episodes. Elita One was definitely in one of the episodes. I think i'll have to check out my G1 & G2 dvds this weekend

A completely technically flawed movie with terrible "movie OS" direction in it, but as long as people don't know jack about computers, it's still fun to watch?

Is that a spoiler or a reference to the cartoon movie where a bunch of favorites get killed right away and then Optimus leaps into the air from semi to robot form and kicks Decepticon ass on the way up and down to the ground. Good scene.

I believe Shockwave catches Elita One stealing Energon and loading it up in a truck (another female autobot). Shockwave says something like "Female autobots...I thought they went extinct". One of the female tosses a cube of energon at him and shoots it in front of his face so they can make a getaway.

You have G1 and G2 dvds...I'll have to go through copies I made on VHS if I want make sure and even some on Betamax.
