Three movies that I am anxiously waiting for are Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park III, and especially AI. I am a big Kubrick fan, as well as a Spielberg fan, and when you combine them with something that I am very interested in (artificial intelligence), the movie won't disappoint - me at least. Now if only Hollywood would embrace some of Asimov's work... mmmph

I can't wait to see what six or seven years of computer hardware and software advancement can do for digital dinos. It should be super, thanks for asking!

Final Fantasy has been on my list for the past year or so. Yes and AI. Should be very interesting. You can always count on Spielberg to be one of the last remaining hopes of Hollywood.

I don't know about Pearl Harbor though... I just have a bad feeling when it comes to Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay(/Don Simpson) movies...All their movies so far have looked exactly the same (visually) ever since Top Gun and the plots get more and more non-existent and predictable...But that's just my personal animosity towards Hollywood's tendancy to make movies that lack originality and where you can predict the ending even before you enter the theatre(Armageddon, Gone in 60 Seconds...). Most people I talk to don't seem to mind. Despite the predictability/lack of originality, they can sometimes make a pretty good movie. But they'd have to rely on some kickass actors to help them(Crimson Tide).

I could care about JP3. I could, but I don't.

Pearl Harbor, though I hope the plot doesn't suck, AI, FF, and Shrek. I think there is a Jackie Chan movie somewhere in there too. And while It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay early, I've got real hopes for Spiderman.

I think this movie is being released in late summer, but Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is one that I'm really looking forward to . . . along with A.I., Pearl Harbor, and the Final Fantasy Movie.

Now only if Fellowship of the Ring were being released this summer, guess I'll have to wait a few more months until it's released in December.

And I agree with LPM on Spiderman . . . that movie's got great potential.

G-man, Fellowsship of the Ring is going to 'rock house.' Yeah, for some reason, I was thinking that it was coming out in 2002, but maybe I was remembering back to spring of 2000 and thinking that fall of 2001 was a long time to wait!!

Fellowship of the Ring? Is that the Lord of the Rings trilogy thing? If so, I really want to read the books.. I heard they're really good.

Yes, the Lord of the Rings trilogy is in the process of being produced, with a new installment being released each year starting with the Fellowship of the Ring in the fall of this year (I believe). It really is an excellent trilogy to read.
