Is anyone watching this new series on USA? I'm really into crime-scene investigation stuff, and this guy's like Columbo with OCD. It's hilarious to see someone more neurotic than me!

His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. His condition eventually cost him his job, and continues to pose unique challenges in his daily life.

Monk is a detective afraid of the dark, a gumshoe afraid of gum. He has no problem cracking a case - as long as it doesn't involve heights or germs, and is in close proximity to his apartment.

I saw the first episode but haven't been able to catch the last two!

I loved it. Funny and different! I am hoping to get to watch it again in a couple weeks when my day off changes and I have a steady *gasp* FRIDAY off!!!!

yeah, i've only heard a radio ad for it, and since i don't get cable, i was disappointed that i'd miss it. it sounded funny.

Saw the first episode and caught the last half of another. It's great and I like his neurosis as a gimmick for the whole series. Good to see he came out alright after Wings was cancelled way back when.

I love this show! I've been watching it, The Dead Zone on USA also, and Odyssey 5 on Showtime.

How is The Dead Zone as a show? I read the book a while back and thought it was so-so...wonder if the show is better.

I love the show. There are definitely things they should flesh out more, such as some of the characters, but for a first season show, it's great.

ABC picked up the show so even without cable you can enjoy it. I really enjoy watching it when i can catch itI think I've only missed one episode so far.

Actually, ABC is only showing the reruns from USA for awhile. It's not staying. I think until the new season of shows start...

Just saw my first episode of Monk yesterday and I loved it immediately. It's really funny and different from anything on TV.
