Rose Red

Yeah, I know. I made a post that had something to do with Rose Red in the significant other thread but I was wanting to make a post about this anyway. I finished watching a taped Rose Red tonight and it was ok. What did you guys think of it. I thought the part where they slammed the door in Stephen Kings face was funny. That guy is kinda creepy looking isn't he? Isn't that the movie where one of the actors died during the filming? I remember hearing something about a guy dying while playing tennis. Anyways, was it the old dude in the movie that died?

btw, I don't ever really watch too many Stephen King movies myself. It was laying around and I got bored. There aren't too many movies here anyway. I had a DVD player and it practically melted! I was going from Tacoma down to Antioch here in the Bay Area, and my car was being towed on an auto transport. Well, the interior of the car gets really hot because it's a dark blue car, black leather interior. The truck broke down and we were stranded in Redding for like 5 hours with the hot sun. So I forgot all about the DVD playey. It was so hot it nearly burned my hands when I took it out I had to throw it into the freezer for about 15 minutes. So now I have all these DVD's and no player. *Sigh*. Oh, sorry for rambling....

I thought Rose Red was very good... even better if you read "The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer" beforehand (not by King but based on the same story).

I still think the Shawshank Redemption was his best movie, tho.
