Confessions of a dangerous mind.
Kinda a weird twisted movie to be honest. Filled with blatant sex, Violence and well... that's pretty much it... It's storyline was a little odd but I think it was not bad. I personally would rather not see a first half hour of watching a man's bare butt on the screen but low and behold, they have done it. I think that otherwise, it's not too bad. See it if you have nothing else to do. If anyoen else has seen it, lemme know your input

Re: Confessions of an idiot mind starring Looney Clooney
Used to think that guy was alright, now Clooney is just another insincere Hollyweird type.
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/ar...TICLE_ID=30590 In receiving a special filmmaking achievement award from the National Board of Reviews, actor George Clooney joked that "Charlton Heston announced again today that he is suffering from Alzheimer's." Clooney still had a chance to apologize for the bad humor day. When questioned about the remark by New York Newsday, Clooney sputtered: "I don't care. Charlton Heston is the head of the National Rifle Association. He deserves whatever anyone says about him." Clooney, it turns out, is active in gun control and an increasing number of other political causes. He embraces the term "political liberal," he says. And he's become a major Hollywood critic of the impending war in Iraq – and of its author, President Bush. He says President Bush would fit in just fine with New Jersey's favorite crime family. "The government itself is running exactly like the Sopranos," he tells talk-show host Charlie Rose tonight. Clooney says Bush has cut deals with France and Russia so the United Nations Security Council won't complain when "we go into a war [with Iraq] and kill a lot of innocent people." "[Bush says,] 'France, you're getting the pipelines,'" Clooney quips. "Are we going to try and talk [to Saddam Hussein] without jumping in and killing people first?" asks Clooney. "I don't believe we're going to wait until the last resort to do it. That's what bothers me." Clooney's latest directorial project is "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind." |

Whether he's actually sincere about his words is beyond me, but seems like the only questionable thing he's saying is the comment regarding the gov't and the Sopranos. Unlike the Sopranos, the gov't is like a bad rerun playing 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Does that mean I like the guy? no. Last edited by ArkiStan : 01-26-2003 at 03:25 PM. |

Re: Confessions of a Dangerous what again?

Well, the movie IS based on a "true" story . . . or at least a story that one man, Chuck Barris, claims is true. Frankly, I think the guy is a nut job . . . but then again, who am I to judge? ![]() And on to other fun . . . personally, I kind of like Clooney. Of all the Hollywood "leading men," he is my favorite since he actually seems to have a good sense of humor and is just enjoying his celebrity. He doesn't seem to take himself too seriously. And, not to turn this into a political thread, but I completely agree with his - rather funny - comments on Chartlon Heston. In my view, Heston is a jackass! ![]()
