Daredevil or The Hulk?

Which one are you more looking forward to? I like the trailer for the Hulk. The Daredevil trailer doesn't look too interesting to me. I think Ben Affleck can pull off the Daredevil look but something tells me the story is going to suck.

The hulk, though, looked way too cartoonish for my taste. I'm going to go for DD.

But how about X2???

I think Daredevil is going to be a cool movie! I've always liked DareDevil.

Though one thing doesn't make that much sense....well...it does sorta. Wasn't Kingpin a white guy? I mean...Michael Clarke Duncan will do a GREAT job as Kingpin cause he's a HUGE guy and a good actor....but it's not the same as the comics.

Oh well...it was the same as Spiderman I guess. He didn't have the mechanical webshooters in the movie.

I believe that the horrible cartoonish nature will destroy any possible positive story in the Hulk. I think the animation will suck so horribly in fact...that Ang Lee will deserve deportation. Besides...I never enjoyed the Hulk as a comic book anyway, least of all his arther lacking origin. To quote Bart Simpson: "You know, I would've thought that a nuclear explosion would've killed [Radioactive Man]" (even though I know the Hulk's origin involves Gamma radiation rather than nuclear weapons). I think that Ben Afleck and Jon Favreau will make the Daredevil worth watching.

Besides, what about Spidey 2? X2 may be cool...but they need to introduce more villains. The brotherhood of Humanity and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants just won't cut it for two movies in a row... Give me Mr. Synister, give me Apocalypse, and for god's sake...give me Omega Red. I think they need to release an Ironman movie, a new Punisher movie (every bit as dark as the comic books) and a new Captain America movie (set in WW2 times), and on the DC side...give us the Green Lantern, the new Batman Forever, and Etrigan (The Demon). Enough Batman and Superman movies. Move onto your second tier heroes. Hell...one of the comic book companies should even risk a movie from one of the (demi-)villains perspective's... Perhaps a Venom movie? Or the White Queen?

Enough suggestions...none of them will ever be delivered.

Count me in for Daredevil ... "The Hulk" looked WAY too cartoonish.

I honestly don't think race should matter when it comes to comic book characters...i mean, Marvel only has a handful of black characters anyway.

Besides, who could do better than Michael Duncan Clark? Tony Siragusa?

I always thought Joss Ackland would make a good kingpin. I can't find a picture of him. He was the head bad guy in Lethal Weapon 2 and Hans in the Mighty Ducks. Micheal Clark Duncan does have a better build for the role though.

I'm sorry, my choice here is bad CG or a gay Dominatrix?

Daredevil is one of my favs, but that costume looks awful. Febuary movies usually = teh suck.

And the green goblin had green skin instead of a green metal exoskeleton.

I think I like the cartoonish look of the Hulk if it blends in and animates well. If the Hulk can move and be animated like Golem in LOTR then that would be spectacular. But if all the shading and ligth effects off his skin just doesn't fit it's gonna be horrible.

mcs, take a look at the superbowl ad again...and it looks like the light angles are even wrong in some of those shots. that's just an amateur mistake and there is honestly no excuse. besides, the animation on golem looked great...but the hulk animation looks childish, like a second year grad project at ucla's animation school...

THe Hulk is winning! That is disgusting! How is this possible? Now...I like cartoons, but they have their time and place.

ProMinx

PS - Speaking of cartoons, have any of you guys watched Justice League, X-Men Evolution, Batman Forever, or Spiderman Unlimited? I download those shows whenever they have a new episode.

HULK!

That preview during the Superbowl was slamming!

In the comics you kinda felt for that blind lawyer and how he overcomes his handicap. I know Ben is playing a character but I just can't feel sorry for anyone who's having j-lo (always room for... ).

Wish they would have used a real blind guy or a no namer like in Spiderman. Electra would have been better as a latin/italian girl IMO. She's nice and all that but not exotic enough.

Tommy, Spiderman Unlimited only lasted one season (13 episodes), but it was great. You can find all the files on Kazaa. Similarly Batman Beyond is finished at 52 episodes and downloadable. I have every copy of both shows on my hard drive.

Toby M. was hardly a no namer. Think "Cider House Rules" a fairly well known movie that recieved quite a bit of award buzz.

I try to catch JL when I can. How many episodes are out for JL? I've only seen like 5 so far. I've seen Spiderman Unlimited but it's not that great story-wise and drawing wise. X-Men evo doesn't really keep me interested enough...lack of smart bad guys. Batman Forever is watchable.
