NBA rookie of the year?

OK I'm biased...I like Amare Stoudemire of the Suns. He dropped 25 pts and 17 boards on the Celtics yesterday.

Him and Yao Ming are neck and neck number-wise...

Who is going to win Rookie-of-the-year?

good one.
I would have to say Yao Ming by a tiny bit. I like Stoudamire as well, but the reason I give it to Yao. He's producing even when his minutes have been controlled by Rudy.

Btw I like that kid on the heat every once in a while and Yao just got posterized by my boy Kobe. Stoudemire is the 2nd best rookie I've seen come from high school to the pro's.....Stoudamire. KG was a little nicer out the box. Stoudamire is getting it done on a talent rich team.

seriously, i think that Stoudemire was the front-runner earlier in the season, but his overall production and efficiency has been dropping off over the last couple months.

yao will probably win it, not necessarily because he's the best, but because he's getting the continual hype, not to mention that he's such an incredible player. if he continues putting up the kind of numbers he has lately and the rockets finish strong, i think he's a lock.

I highly doubt the rockets will finish strong. Yao is great. But he needs to cut down on the stupid fouls & turnovers.
Anyway, if the Rockets played like they did last night, they are not going anywhere but to the lottery. Mo' Taylor gave Horry so much freaking room to shoot a 3...They deserved to lose last night.

You noticed that when Kobe was sharing the ball, they got so much more production out of Horry, Fish and Foxy? But anyway, don't wan't jel to get too excited here...

Its just B-ball.

Btw, Madsen was key to that Lakers victory. Took a foul, blocked a shot, dunked all in a vital strect. Can't wait for the rematch Maddog vs. Yoa 2.
