Not to get too off topic but Rod Serling grew up in the town that I live in, and was raised on Bennett Avenue-Two houses down from the house we lived in for years. we always used to see tv crews looking for the house. I went to the same high school as Serling,(many years later of course) and I remember a wierd thing-the autotorium had a major fire-and the only thing that didn't burn was an area of wall that encirled where Rod Serling had wrote his name in big letters behind the stage (everyone in the plays used to do that)..the school kept that piece of wall and put in in a huge glass display case when they built the new addition to the highschool. It was creepy. |
