An interesting article that talks about why New Stadiums Aren't the Draw They Used to Be.

When it comes to professional sports and baseball in particular it is a winning team that fills seats. Not new staduims, not big name superstar players but wins. Most of the teams in the article who have new stadiums are really crappy.

![]() it's sad that baseball teams (the detroit tigers, for instance) think that simply by building a snazzy, shiny new ballpark, we're going to waste our money and our time to see the pathetic product they're putting on the field. |

bud seilig will go down as one of the worst commissioners in baseball's history.
everytime I read anything that has to do with the brewers, i get irked. and the fact that baseball has over-expanded, and bud's trying to retract GOOD teams.... and even trying to strong-arm minny into building a new stadium (why?!?!?!, we're seeing it's not going to draw in more attendance), i dunno...he's a freakin retard. |
