He went out a winner, had a great game 13 points and 17 rebounds. You can't write a better ending for a great player on and off the court. Anyone think the Spurs will get Kidd next year?? They have the money to do it.

they have the money...but Kidd during the season said...if the Nets sign Kmart to an extension this offseason, he'll more likely stay. if they leave his contract open ended...then Kidd won't be sure about the Nets future, and more likely leave. now if it's not Kidd.... http://www.nbawire.com/nba-free-agents.html would you take Andre Miller or GP over Fruitcake Parker? |

![]() The Spurs backcourt is fine right now with Parker, Ginnobli, and Jackson. They need another big man to create the same effect as with Duncan and Robinson. Plus it would make them tougher in the West loaded with big power forwards. There will only be Duncan left because Willis is going to retire or move on also. |

I think if you can get GP you keep Parker and let him learn. I don't think Payton is the long term answer. Question is will the contract be long enough and enough money to keep hom for a couple years. As for Miller... I don't know. I wonder how well he'd fit in the system. |

Boring series!!!
I'm a little hesitant to comment on this series because I'm from Dallas, and anything I say can be written off as bitterness from a Mavericks fan, but putting all that aside- This series was boring. I love David Robinson, I thin Jason Kidd is amazing, but they were boring. The offense played in this series ranked somewhere near a mediocre college game or a great High school game. Sure, there were moments of greatness, but they were few and far between. Before this season you could count the number of finals games I had missed even if you didn't have fingers. None!!! Until this year. I started at the beginning of the series and was done after game one. I tried to keep interest, but it wasn't successful. I ended up watching the last 3 minutes of each game, and that was plenty for me. I did watch the whole championship presentation. Anyway, I felt like it was boring. That's all.

congrats to san antonio.
i was of course happy to see robinson go out on top (how rare!) and how about tim duncan's monster performance? 2 blocks shy of a quad-double ![]() i guess i didn't find this series to be any less engaging than most of the nba over the past few years. guys still travel and don't get called, no one can hit a mid-range jumper, practically no one has good movement without the ball, offensive execution is shoddy, and isolation plays are the name of the game. that said, it was fun to watch and had its redeeming moments. |

Both teams have good defense and the offense is some what average with the exception of Tim Duncan. I was picking the Kings to go all the way but then Webber was injured. The Kings probably blew out the Nets in 4 games.

I knew the series was a yawner when the halftime show for game 5 (I think it was) was a report all about Kobe Bryant. That spoke volumes! Anyway props to SA for winning.

Well I think my Law professor summed it up for us Laker Fans... "If the Laker's aren't playing does it really matter? Just like if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around..." I didn't watch the finals... no interest....but I'm happy for Mr. Robinson.... I remember his tv ad... can you say kicked some butt. He was a class act.
