I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.

I cant wait for this movie. Still bitter that I never heard of the lord of the rings until the movies came out. My high school didnt believe in making it part of the cirriculum.

Most schools don't really include them in the curriculum because they take so long to read. I took the initiative and read them on my own.

The most famous book I read in school was Huck Finn. I read LOTR after the first movie came out.

Man I am really wanting to see this movie. I got a copy of the 2 Towers for Christmas. It's a "9" copy which is supposed to be the best quality you can get and I've seen it like 10 times. Can't wait for the extended version to add to my small collection.

Thanks for the links. This is 2nd behind Star Wars on my movie list.

I've read the first two books (well most of the second one), but I'm not going to read the third till after I see the movie. I figure it's interesting to see the movie when you don't know what the storyline is.
