chang, agassi, and sampras were the superstars when I grew up in the 80's and early 90's... I reckon agassi's next |

His parents attend my uncle's church. Michael was at the church the year he won the French Open and gave my uncle autographed tennis balls, photographs and posters for my brother and me. I've got them back at my 'rents house in New Jersey.
And yes, Michael Chang did inspire to try to get better at tennis. After playing for a decade, I realized i wasn't enjoying it anymore so now i post on Got|Apex? all day long. |

You cant forget Jim Courier in there for players who did well in the late 80s and the 90s.

I was waiting for the other shoe to drop... it was only a matter of time. Michael Chang has always been a class act. I hope he does well in whatever he is planning to do now in retirement.

Chang was my hero when I was younger, and I guess he still was. I loved how he would scramble for every single shot, no matter how far or hopeless it was. He was an inspiring figure in my life.

Yeah he was inspirational to a lot of asian kids growing up. He was smaller than most of the players on the tour but he really left it all out on the court. |

chang was the only player broadcast in taiwan when i was young... all the rest of the player at the tour didn't even have names. i am sure going to miss him, i liked steffi graff, agassi, wasn't really a sampras fan

He wasn't even a very convincing human. That Lendl was pure, unadulterated robot. |
