I work in the Television industry and the word on the street is that Fox Television is hella PISSED off that neither the BoSox nor the Cubs are in the world series. They knew that their ratings would have been off the charts, if either one of those teams made it...and we all would be watching had they both made it.

I live down in Miami. Personally, I think this town is **** for teams. I have been to more marlins games than 90% of the population that has lived here, and I have been to 10 in 2 years. Now they are all whoopdie f'in doo over the marlins.
Perfect example was the 2 cubs games they had down here. Fri night the statium had 69.8k people, marlins lost. Sat night it was only 64k. The fans suck. Now, after the sports and news ripped on them for more than 2 years, they are all defensive against Wills' comments, which are all true. So the lead anchor down here said that Wills was "A tub of lard" and he "Ate too many big macs" and "He will pay for 3 dinners for himself and 1 for his teammates if they win". I hate it down here, the people are rude, fairweather, pile of garbage fans. LK |
