Quirky Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has revealed she likes to snack on the odd insect or two.

The Tomb Raider star partakes in the unusual delicacy during her frequent trips to Cambodia.

Angelina, 28, is a regular visitor to the south east Asian nation where her adopted son, Maddox, was born.

She says there are two ways to enjoy the delicacy - with guts or without - and it's the former that has her raving.

"I've eaten cockroaches and bee larvae and crickets," she said.

"You can get them with peanuts inside or with the guts. I like them, they're really meaty and high in protein."

i have to admit that i'm starting to warm up to angelina jolie. before, i thought she was so involved with cambodian children because she wanted to eat them. but after watching a barbara walters special on her and reading up on her life recently, i'm starting to respect those lips..i mean, her.
