Oh man, you haters are in for long season.

I warned ya.

GP and Mailman both almost had triple doubles. All 5 starters in double digits... Kobe not even playing... Looks like they made up to boot... Dallas held to 90 points and garbage time for most of the 4th if not all. Bwaahaa haa haa ha ha hee hee ha!

-jel
ps: DON'T HATE THE PLAYER. HATE THE GAME!

"Well, they're awesome," Dallas coach Don Nelson said. "Even without Kobe they have enough firepower to dominate the league."

To put to sleep some of the bs:
"We're cool. We talked this morning. He said what he said, I said what I said. We put it behind us," Bryant said. "Shaq and I are going to move on, be teammates and help this team to a fourth title."

A little something from the Mailman:
"That was exciting to see. Hopefully the fans loved it," Malone said. "We're going to get better and better as we get things down and our execution gets better. We're going to make a run at this thing."

When Kobe comes back they're going to be very dangerous, but they're going to have to jell as well," Walker said. "I think tonight they played off adrenaline and emotion. This was a big game for them with the controversy they had, so we'll see if they can keep it up through the season."

What about the rest of us? I'm talking about those who are not haters but are having a hard time enduring the endless jabber of a fanboi?

With that said, I'm happy for both the Glove and the Mailman. I was cheated out of both of them by just a pick or two in my fantasy draft. Now, I'm gonna have to trade for them, or figure out some other way to get them....

If the shoe fits...

You read either to judge or to come talk Laker basketball. You know what the threads are about. I don't hear any complaints about those who consistantly bash the lakers.... Maybe your a closet hater.

Get mad if you want but I told you all last year I was going to clown all the **** talkers this year.... and so it begins.

-jel
ps: Both just missed a triple double with a ton of assists going around. Look for fish on the cheap for certain stretches, he's hitting the open j and leading when the starters hit the bench.

Its a long season, lots can happen, so lets all sit tight and just be thankful that the nba is back and we don't have to watch no stinking baseball anymore.

This should get interesting real quick...
If Kobe & Shaq get into a fight, whose side GP & KM are going to be on?

Yeah, I tend to agree. That lineup is unstoppable.

Thats why the suns made the move to go young, and develop players and start to make runs in 2005+.

yeah i also remember when shaq proclaimed that the fu-schnickens were his favorite rap group (even did a song with them before he embarked on his own rap career, and consequently where he thought up the name "Shaq Fu"). i wonder if he'd own up to that if you asked him straight up...

Shaq is a very big man with very big bodyguards. He doesnt need the "Fu" anymore... except at the line where he uses all of his chi to guide the ball into the basket.

Go Lakers!

wow! close game...tonite. i thought tonite was gonna be blow out, but suns played very well.

but lakers still won! woooo! 3 double-doubles with 6 players in double scoring figures! wow!

tonite was crazy all-around the league. 3 players with over 30pts, and 2 almost 30! craaazzyy!

this is gonna be fun on the fantasy leagues!
