Not too bad. The reason I saw it is that the local newspaper movie critic gave it an "A", which he rarely does.

The acting was superb with lots of notable stars. Sean Penn, who I normally don't like, was excellent.

Still, I would wait for it on DVD.

I saw it last week. Good movie I enjoyed it a lot.

If you want to see a movie its enjoyable, and long. So you get a good ammount of bang for your buck.

Watched it last night. Really liked/hated it. Loved it because of how engrossed I was in it and how much I believed the characters. Hated it because it kept me up thinking about it.

Just finished watching this movie...came on the forums to look what people had said about it and BAM it was at the top of the list! What a coincidence.

Anyways, I thought the movie was pretty good. The acting was good, especially Sean Penn's character. I didn't really understand the point of the sidestory with Kevin Bacon and his wife though. It seemed really...unecessary.

naw. what it showed is that he was affected by the event in his youth as well. even tho' he seperated himself from his old neighborhood, he was still distant and had problems with intimacy.

i really liked that movie a lot. i think i liked it mostly because it wasn't a cookie-cutter type movie and it had some originality to it.

I thought it was very well made, very good. Sean Penn was good. However, it was quite depressing but worth seeing.
