So around 6:15 last night, I got handed a pair of very nice tix to the Rangers v. Stars game. Of course I wasn't going to pass up the tix . . . about 15 rows right behind the Rangers bench. Didn't even realize it might be a potentially history-making evening.

Well, for those who don't follow hockey at all, last night Mark Messier scored 2 goals and moved past Gordie Howe into the #2 spot for all time points . . . still a good 1,000 or so points behind Gretzky . . . but that guy just isn't human.

Such a treat to see Messier pass that milestone. Always been a huge fan of his . . . the guy is a badass and infinitely likeable.
