Thumbs up Division Championship weekend

I am really looking forward to the games tomorrow, especially the Colts/Patriots game. Both Manning and Brady are frickin gunslingers, so this promises to be a offensive showcase. Both of these guys are so talented that I wouldn't be surprised if Manning vs. Brady becomes as legendary as Elway vs. Marino or other great matchups. In the other game, I hope the Eagles win for no better reason than every game McNabb wins is another idiot point added up to Rush Limbaugh's total.

I predict the Pats will win, despite how much I hate them. I'm going to say the Eagles will win their game, but it will be close.

i'm a huge colts fan so i'm gonna be glued to teh television. prob. is my plane leaves at 4:50 tomorrow so i'm going to miss the end of it.

and i kind of agree with rush. look at mcnabb's numbers. and the firestorm that followed rush's comments was ridiculous. where is the outrage when tostidos makes a commercial commenting on the fact that white men can't jump? where is the outrage when sir charles says he doesn't like white people? where is the outrage when isaah thomas says that if larry bird was a white guy, no one would know his name?

exactly. there is none.

Carolina vs. Colts

I am not watching the Superbowl if it's Philly vs. New England

I wants to see two underdog teams playing in the SB. I want to see the Colts to win a SB.

while i'm no particular fan of carolina, i will be rooting for them against the pats in the superbowl. w00t! go panthers!

and in the off-season, could the eagles focus on getting a least one receiver who a) knows how to run his assigned route, b) can adjust to where the ball is to make a catch and c) hold onto the ball once it is caught? i mean, i know that's a lot to ask (hell, just ask the lion's receivers ), but at least one decent receiver would be nice.

the funniest line of the carolina-philly game was when detmer shovel-passed the ball to one of his lineman and one of the guys in the booth said "well, you can't blame him for wanting to pass the ball to someone else, given how his recivers are playing today." philly's receivers lost the game for them, plain and simple.

It's all about the turnovers. Turnovers win championships.

Panthers to win the Superbowl after they get away with a late hit on Brady, thus messing up his ribs.

EDIT: not saying that this play alone cost Philly the game, their recievers dropping everything or not making catches lost them the game.

Seriously though it willbe a good superbowl... I have to pull for the Panthers... Peppers is just plain cool

This is a good match up since the Panthers D could do some damage to Brady.

The Colts didn't play any D to stop the Pats.

I'm rooting for Carolina also.

That was Chris Collinsworth and I was glad that he said that because it was true. But I wonder how much of that had to do with when he used play with the Bengals, when their arch enemy was the Eagles. The Eagles acted like bitches, and they paid the price. Just in case the Eagles fans watching the show didn't know why they lost the game, Chris Collinsworth reminded them why. It's good to have that kind of voice in the booth.

Yeah... ain't we a pair, Raggedy man.

I think the weather was the biggest factor in this game. Colts were frozen in their tracks literally the whole game. It looked like Peyton had the right idea most of the time but ended up throwing just a bit short. The defense was just as bad with the missed open field tackles. But the Patriots are in the Superbowl for a reason. There's no stopping them this year.
