ROTFLMAO: My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance

OK, another reality show where only some people are "onto" what is really going on.
"My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance" premiered on Fox last night. did anyone catch it? i know it sounds lame, but it was hilarious.
This chick thinks she is in a reality show and has to convince her parents she is going to marry this guy, who is really an actor, but she doesn't know that. Her family has to attend the wedding or else she doesn't get the million dollar prize. Show runs 11 weeks, i think. She was already bawling last night cause she can't take this guy burping, scratching his butt, and getting sloppy drunk so much already.
The guy is a riot - guaranteed to get his own comedy series or SOMETHING after this.

check it out next Monday night!

I know that the guy is an actor, but he really is poor at what he does. They could have picked a better "loser".

I am not an actor.

They could have picked a real loser like Ben Stiller.

Steve will be a LOT more annoying and nasty as the show goes on. Give him a chance.

I love this shows, it reminds of me of the joe schmoe show with a lot less risk for it to go wrong. I mean taking a vase and slamming it down on the little chair, that is classic. Next week he sneaks in a kiss where she has to kiss him, this is going to get great.

I can't wait till her folks meet him.

she thinks they are both on this reality TV show and has no idea he is in on it.
she has to convince her family and they HAVE to attend the wedding for her to win a mill.

Probably the only job he'll ever get as an actor.

On second thought, after the exposure he gets from this show, he could be in Krispy Kreme commercials.

It's hilarious, I think Steve is a hoot. He is a good actor, I'm genuinely repulse by him though I know it's fake. He's so funny to watch. Like an gruesome car accident you can't look away from.

What happened? Did she convince her parents and friends that she was getting married?

Yup, they went to the wedding, some things happened. She told them the truth, wanted to do it for the money so her family could do things, blah blah blah. Her dad says money isn't important, she starts crying. Steve tells everybody that he is an actor and everybody who attended the wedding form his side of the family are actors and they set her up. So is shocked, he goes instead of 500grand you get a mill, 500grand for you and 500grand for your family. She smiles everybody hugs the end.

nah, her family will get over it quick now that they have all the details. plus the money will help to iron things out "she did it all for them."

i actually liked seeing how much her siblings loved her. they were totally pissed that she would marry such an ignoramous, but they still went to the wedding.

Now... as it turns out, they just had their first kid and once again, her family didn't even come out to see the baby or offer any shred of support for the new addition to their family.

Some folks are just massive buttholes I guess. Hopefully they all get what eventually is coming to them.

Even if the family hates the son-in-law, the wife and the kid are still their blood.

Great show almost as good as the one with nerds and male models competing for that girl. I missed the last 2 weeks (wedding?) but the ones I saw were fun. It's pretty sad that such a cool gurl would go through all that. I know it's a lot of money but it's not like she's broke.
