Freelance Superhero

i just saw this movie earlier tonight, and i have to say, it's one of the best i've seen recently, if not the best (and this is coming from a hard core tim burton fan who also recently saw Big Fish).

unfortunately, i'm finding it difficult to verbalize my thoughts on the movie, so the only things i can really say about it right now are that the younger daughter, emma bolger, is absolutely adorable and that there was something very beautiful about djimon hounsou's character.

i already want to see it again. it's not quite a feelgood movie (much of it is, in fact, sad), but in the end you're left with a peaceful, reassuring feeling.

beautiful, beautiful movie, and one of the few i can remember that was actually worth the full $9.25 price of admission, and then some...
